NONAGON VOL. 1 ALBUM RELEASE PARTY IN THE FOREST

On this beautiful summer evening, July 17th, trees filtering the mildly smokey air, we had our first show here in my forest. Nestled on the A-Frame stage behind the Nonagon studio where I recorded my entire second album, the show was initially created to promote this album, but the experience turned into so much more throughout the night. Hanging in the treehouse platforms, swinging on hammocks, resting on logs, or standing up in the leaves beyond where I had initially raked, everyone became a tribe in our Ewok inspired tree community. Everyone kept repeating the word “magical,” to describe the night, and I’m still so incredibly filled with gratitude.

Supported by special guests Tlooth and Friar Jon, the music was just as eclectic as the group or listeners. You could feel the love and I enjoyed seeing all walks of life in such a diverse crowd. There were younger, older, kids, punks, moms and dads, relatives, teachers, musicians, listeners... we think about 50+ ppl came to the forest, and this is exactly the atmosphere I've been wanting to create, no defined genre of either music or human, just multi-generational community in a true listening space. We will be having more shows, and I will provide more updates, but for now we know that we will be having another show on September 26th.

I'm not super big on celebrating my birthday, but this was one of the best I've had. Please also stream my album Nonagon Volume 1 by Lone Cricket everywhere you stream music. Thank you!
